Patrols arrive at DeFi Kingdoms

DeFi Kingdoms introduces a new game mode: Patrols. This feature, available exclusively on Metis, offers players a PvE combat experience for all levels and the possibility to try it out for free.

What are Patrols?

Patrols are a new progressive combat mode. Once players defeat the first group of enemies, they can choose to claim rewards or continue advancing to face greater challenges and earn better rewards.

Each level of the Patrol offers a unique set of enemies, with players facing three random enemies in each round. Additionally, enemies vary in terms of XP, Gold, and the type of unique loot they can drop. This includes 8 new pieces of equipment, a new consumable item, and more surprises.

Players can bring up to three Heroes into Patrols, with level ranges of 1-3, 4-6, or 7-9.

How to start patrolling?

To begin patrolling and earn rewards with your Heroes, visit the "Barkeep" in the "Docks" area to purchase a team of Heroes. Then, return to the "Registry" to officially join Patrols.

It’s important to note that Heroes must be committed as "Bannermen" in the service of the city, which can be done at the "Recruiter NPC" inside the Registry.

For new players, it is recommended to form a team with Warrior, Archer, Priest, and Knight classes, as it is a simple and balanced setup to start.

Demo Mode

The demo mode is free and allows you to play without needing a wallet connection or assets. Simply go to the "Registry" and talk to the NPC "Deputy Gillford Finnigan" to begin with three provided Heroes.

This demo will let you test the combat system, learn about Hero abilities, and experience the game mechanics easily and without pressure.
