The project was born as a successor to the classic SolForge, a digital CCG remembered for its progressive card-leveling mechanic. In SolForge Fusion, that feature returns —now combining physical cards with their digital version.

Each printed card includes a QR code that links directly to the game on Steam, allowing players to bring their physical decks into digital matches without losing progress.

This connection between both formats not only expands accessibility but also creates a sense of a living collection: what you obtain physically continues evolving in the digital realm.

What makes each deck unique

One of SolForge Fusion’s most striking features is that no two decks are alike. The generation system uses an algorithm that fuses two distinct “faction halves,” creating millions of possible configurations. This removes the need for manual deckbuilding and makes adaptation the key to success.

Cards are placed on a five-lane board, where creatures face each other directly. If a lane is empty, the attack hits the opposing player instead.

The visual simplicity of this system keeps each turn clear while demanding tactical precision —a single misplaced creature can determine the outcome of the entire game.

However, the most distinctive mechanic is “Level Up.” Each time a card is played, its upgraded version is shuffled back into the deck for future rounds. This means even a weak card early on can become decisive later. Every move is an investment in the future.

Between control and pressure

Tension in SolForge Fusion arises not only from powerful cards but from managing time and space. Players must constantly decide between applying pressure with direct attacks or holding cards for a more favorable moment.
