Arbitrum has launched a new program focused on enhancing the technical security of projects built on its network, especially those related to video games and Web3 platforms. Under the name Arbitrum Audit Program, the initiative aims to facilitate access to external audits by subsidizing part or all of the associated costs.

The main goal is to strengthen the technical infrastructure of the Arbitrum ecosystem by reducing risks associated with code errors, vulnerabilities, and poor development practices in smart contracts.
This is particularly relevant for gaming projects, where security is a key factor in building trust among users and investors.
How does it work?
The program involves a mechanism with three main actors:

Once a project is assigned to an audit firm, the technical process begins and a report is delivered, which must be validated by an independent committee. The quality and usefulness of the audit for the ecosystem are key factors in determining funding.
Arbitrum has become one of the most active networks in Web3 gaming development, with initiatives like Arbitrum Gaming Ventures supporting the creation of notable titles. However, the sector’s growth has brought new challenges, especially in terms of security.

The Arbitrum Audit Program addresses this need by offering a structured solution to reduce technical risks and raise the quality standards of games built on the network.
Both independent studios and emerging game projects can access the program if they meet the eligibility criteria. Likewise, audit firms can apply to become part of the approved list of technical providers.

Details about the application process, evaluation, and audit assignment are available through Arbitrum's official community channels.

The Arbitrum Audit Program represents a strategic step to enhance the security of Web3 projects on this network, especially in the gaming space. By offering subsidized audits and promoting the adoption of technical standards, the initiative fosters a more reliable and professional environment, delivering direct benefits to developers, users, and investors.
