Dead Island 2 Joins PS Plus: November 2026 Free Games

PlayStation Plus kicks off November 2026 with a selection of games featuring zombies, classic adventures, and strategy. Starting November 3, subscribers can add Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, and Monster Train 2 to their libraries at no additional cost beyond their membership.

Sony has officially refreshed the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for November 2026. The new selection is available from Tuesday, November 3, through Monday, November 30, offering three very different gaming experiences for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users.

This month's biggest attraction is Dead Island 2, the action-survival game that transforms Los Angeles into a zombie-infested nightmare. However, it is not the only highlight: fans of classic adventures can also enjoy three remastered Tomb Raider games, while strategy enthusiasts have another option with Monster Train 2.

Dead Island 2 Joins PlayStation Plus: What Is It About?

In Dead Island 2, players explore a devastated version of Los Angeles known as HELL-A, where an epidemic has transformed much of the population into bloodthirsty creatures.

The game combines exploration, missions, character customization, and particularly brutal combat. One of its main features is the wide variety of melee weapons, which can be used to strike, slash, and dismember enemies, along with a damage system that displays the effects of each encounter.

Additionally, Dead Island 2 can be played solo or in online co-op with up to three players, making it a great option for those who want to take on hordes of zombies alongside their friends. The version included with PlayStation Plus is available on both PS4 and PS5.

Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered: Three Lara Croft Adventures

The second addition is Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, a collection that brings back three classic video games starring Lara Croft:

1. Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
2. Tomb Raider: Chronicles
3. Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness

This collection allows players to experience the adventures with modern visual enhancements or switch back to the original polygonal graphics. This way, players can compare how the classic titles originally looked with their remastered presentation.

The collection retains the franchise's signature elements, including environmental exploration, puzzles, and platforming sequences. Like Dead Island 2, it is available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Monster Train 2 Completes November's PlayStation Plus Lineup

The third title is Monster Train 2, a strategy game that combines deck-building mechanics with elements of the roguelite genre.

Its story follows an alliance between angels and demons who must face the Titans, powerful creatures that have taken control of Heaven. To stop them, players must organize their forces aboard trains traveling through different supernatural regions.

The game features five new clans, each with its own characteristics and strategic possibilities. Battles require players to defend three vertical levels, upgrade cards, recruit units, and adapt their tactics to overcome enemies.

Unlike the other two monthly releases, Monster Train 2 is available exclusively for PS5 as part of this lineup.

How to Claim November's PlayStation Plus Games

All three titles are part of the monthly PlayStation Plus lineup and are included with the Essential, Extra, and Deluxe subscription plans.

To add them to your library from a PS5 console, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your PlayStation 5 and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the PlayStation Plus section.
3. Navigate to Benefits and select Monthly Games.
4. Search for Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, or Monster Train 2.
5. Select the game and choose the option to add it to your library or download it.

You can also manage your games through the PlayStation Store or the official PlayStation app, as long as you are using an account with an eligible membership.

Are the Games Free Forever?

Although monthly games do not require an additional purchase for subscribers, there is one important condition: you must add them to your library before November 30, 2026.

Once claimed, you can continue downloading and playing them as long as you maintain an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If your membership expires, you will temporarily lose access to these titles, although you can regain access by reactivating an eligible subscription.

With this lineup, PlayStation Plus offers three very different genres throughout November: zombie action with Dead Island 2, classic adventures with Lara Croft, and strategy with Monster Train 2. For players with an active membership, it's an opportunity to expand their game libraries before the end of the month.
