Parallel Season 20: Queen’s Gambit introduces new cards and PRIME upgrades

The new open season of Parallel, titled Queen’s Gambit, began on October 2, 2025, introducing additional content, reward system adjustments, and new features to the gameplay experience of the popular Web3 TCG developed by Parallel Studios.

A new Battle Pass and exclusive card

With the start of Open Beta Season 20, players can access a new Battle Pass featuring a unique playable card, exclusive cosmetics, and various rewards.
The highlight of this season is Marlene, The Mirage, a rare unit from the Marcolian faction, accompanied by new card backs, frames, and titles.

The special titles available in this season’s pass are:

• “Serial Top Decker”, unlocked at level 2.
• “Illusionist”, unlocked at level 50.

As in previous seasons, these rewards will remain exclusive to the pass and won’t return in future updates.

PRIME earnings and emissions adjustments

Parallel confirmed an update to the PRIME earning system for cards above First Edition (FE) rarity.
Special Edition (SE) cards now receive a meaningful boost to their earning potential, and the studio announced that Masterpiece (MP) cards will become playable in the future.

Meanwhile, Echelon announced that the total PRIME pool will increase starting this season, further strengthening participation value across the ecosystem.

Special Edition and Masterpiece raffles

Players who minted or purchased the First Edition version of Korrin, Cryptic Architect during Season 19 will automatically enter the raffle for the Special Edition and Masterpiece versions, provided they keep the cards in their wallets until October 9 at 15:00 UTC.
Similarly, Season 20 will include a new raffle for Marlene, The Mirage, with details to be announced at the end of the current cycle.

Free pack shipment and active events

The Parallel team has completed the first shipment of free “Deception” packs, distributed to players who met last week’s eligibility requirements.
A new batch will be delivered in two weeks as part of ongoing community engagement initiatives.

Additionally, Duels (Beta) has launched — a system that allows 1v1 matches with PRIME stakes, available directly through tournaments.echelon.io/duels.
Players can create or join lobbies, submit decks, verify results, and claim rewards using their Echelon profiles.

 

With the PRIME pool expansion, updated reward structure, and the arrival of Duels (Beta), the project continues to strengthen its ecosystem within the Web3 trading card game space.
