$10,000 USDC up for grabs with AvaCloud!

AvaCloud has launched a new initiative aimed at developers interested in exploring the eERC20 privacy standard on Avalanche. With a reward pool of $10,000 USDC, the goal is to incentivize the creation of tools and applications that adopt this financial confidentiality-focused technology.

What is eERC20?

eERC20 is an EVM-compatible token standard that introduces advanced privacy features. It allows users to keep sensitive data such as account balances, owned assets, and spending patterns private. This solution was developed by AvaCloud and runs on the Avalanche network.

Bounty Structure

The bounty is divided into two participation categories:

• Track 1: App Track – $7,500 in rewards
• Track 2: Tooling Track – $2,500 in rewards

The deadline to submit projects is June 1, 2025.

Track 1: App Track

This category is aimed at those who want to develop functional applications that demonstrate real-world use cases of the eERC20 standard.

Rewards

• First place: $4,000
• Second place: $2,000
• Third place: $1,500

Required Deliverables

• A functional application with frontend and backend.
• GitHub repository with source code and documentation (README).
• Demo video of the functionality.

Evaluation Criteria

• Functionality and completion level.

Possible Ideas to Develop

Participants can explore various areas where privacy adds value. Some useful ideas to get started include:

• Private voting platforms for DAOs with eERC20 tokens.
• Anonymous reward systems, where amounts or identities are hidden.
• Private tipping bots on social media platforms like X or Farcaster.

These ideas are just examples and do not limit the type of application that can be submitted.

Track 2: Tooling Track

This track focuses on the development of tools, tutorials, or SDK components that make it easier to use the standard.

Rewards

• $1,500 – Best deployment tool (CLI or GUI).
• $500 – Second best deployment tool.
• $500 – Best written or video guide on deployment.

Required Deliverables

• CLI tool, script, or SDK that simplifies eERC20 deployment.
• Step-by-step guide in text or video format.
• GitHub repository with documentation and examples.
• Optional integration with Avalanche Academy or Builder Hub.

Technical Requirements

• Use of the official repository: EncryptedERC.
• eERC20 contract deployment using Avalanche CLI or Toolbox.
• Guide for deployment on Avalanche L1 chains.

Evaluation Criteria

• Functionality and completeness.
• Code quality and clarity of documentation.
• Educational value.
