$3 Million Up for Grabs: Parallel Prime League Redefines TCGs

Echelon has strengthened its commitment to the competitive ecosystem of the Parallel trading card game (TCG). As the Parallel Prime Championship approaches in March, important updates have been announced for Seasons 2 and 3 of the league.

Increased Prize Pool

After a first season with a prize pool of $500,000, [Echelon] has decided to significantly increase the rewards with a total of $3 million distributed over the next two seasons:

• Season 2: Prize pool of $1 million.

• Season 3: Prize pool of $2 million.

This increase seeks to attract the best talents in the TCG genre and position Parallel players as world-class competitors.

Rebranding and visual identity

The league has also undergone a rebranding process, highlighting the intention of an attractive name Parallel Prime League with its main event: Parallel Prime Championship.

Likewise, we are now working in collaboration with [Worship Studio] for a new visual identity inspired by the concept of "reaching new heights" and the design of the flagship Sanctuary.

Format and new competitive opportunities

In Season 2, which will begin on March 6, new competitive mechanics will be implemented to improve the gaming experience:

• Double-elimination tournaments.

• Round-robin events.

Additionally, local play will be introduced through tournaments sanctioned by local organizers, strengthening the competitive scene beyond top-tier events, similar to the tournaments that OLA runs for League of Legends.

Upcoming Events

The Parallel Prime Championship will take place from February 28th to March 2nd at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas, with $250,000 in prize money. This competition will be the start of the new seasons that seek to establish Parallel as a reference in the field of digital TCGs.
