Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 arrives tomorrow, November 14, 2025, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The game is set in a tense 2035, following the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6.

This release introduces a co-op campaign, updated multiplayer and a Zombies mode with expanded content.

Release date and times

The game launches on November 14, with different unlock times depending on platform and region.

Consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One):

• Unlocks at local midnight.
• In Spain, access starts on 11/14 at 00:00 CET.
• In New Zealand, the game is already available from the morning of 11/13.

PC (Battle.net and Steam):

• Staggered activation from 9:00 PM PT on 11/13, equivalent to 5:00 CET on 11/14 in Spain.

New Zealand trick:
Switching your account region to New Zealand (consoles or Xbox Store on PC) lets you play about 22 hours early, starting 3:00 AM PT / 12:00 CET on 11/13.

Pre-load:
Available since November 10. The game weighs 150–160 GB.

Game Pass:
Available day 1 for Ultimate, PC and Console users.
The Vault Edition does not include early access.

Story: a mission in a world on edge

The campaign follows David Mason (voiced by Milo Ventimiglia) and the “Specter One” JSOC team. Their goal is to stop the unexpected return of Raul Menendez and the corporation The Guild, which uses psychological manipulation tactics.

The story can be played solo or in co-op with up to 4 players. It includes 11 linear missions plus Endgame, a replayable zone in the city of Avalon with support for 32 players, inspired by extraction-style gameplay.

The global progression system links campaign, multiplayer and Zombies. This entry closes narrative arcs from BO2 and BO6.

Multiplayer: maps, movement and weapons

The game launches with 18 maps:

• 16 for 6v6
• 2 for 20v20

The selection includes futuristic Tokyo layouts, frozen Alaska zones and remakes from Black Ops 2.

The omnimovement system evolves with wall jumps, vehicles, grapples and the removal of default Tactical Sprint (now tied to a perk).
There are 30+ weapons, including 16 new ones, and new perk specialties like Enforcer, Recon and Strategist.
Overclock is also added for equipment and streaks.

During the open beta in October, the Ricochet anti-cheat reportedly reached 99% effectiveness.

Zombies: expanded map and unified progression

• Dead Ops Arcade 4, played from a top-down perspective.
• Cursed, a high-difficulty mode with relics, no loadouts and no mini-map.
• Vehicles, augments, GobbleGums and unified progression.
