RavenQuest Arrives on Epic with Treasures Below

The Treasures Below expansion, the first major content update for RavenQuest, will be available starting August 15, 2025. This new chapter introduces new systems, game modes, quality of life improvements, and a full revamp of the $QUEST token economy. It also marks the official launch of the game on Epic Games Store.

Expeditions: unique challenges with every attempt

The new Expeditions system introduces a scalable PvE mode, where each run generates different conditions and enemies. The greater the challenge, the greater the rewards. This mode encourages strategic exploration, controlled risk, and ongoing progression.

Arena PvP with MMR system

With update 1.1.0, the competitive Arena PvP system becomes available. Matches are played in a 2v2 format, organized through a Matchmaking Rating (MMR) system.

• Each match consists of 3 consecutive rounds.
• Players can queue solo or in pairs.
• Arenas are open three times a day, with a maximum of 9 matches per session.
• Requires Legacy Level 65 minimum.
• Warforged Skills, RavenCards, and full build progress are enabled.
• Players use their own gear and stats. No changes are allowed during a match.

Additionally, the Arena Leaderboard will highlight the top competitors by MMR, awarding exclusive Adornments as visual rewards for outstanding players.

New Archetypes: Naturalist and Ballistics

The arrival of the Naturalist and Ballistics archetypes introduces a wide range of new gameplay options. Each offers a distinct playstyle:

• Naturalist: specializes in channeling natural energy for combat or support.
• Ballistics: focused on precision damage and distance control.

With these additions, RavenQuest enables over 60 new class combinations, thanks to its multi-archetype system.

New weapons and Thaw Festival: seasonal event

The expansion adds new weapon types, expanding combat strategies. Additionally, the Gemstones system allows players to modify and enhance gear, adding custom stats and unique effects.

Treasures Below also introduces the Thaw Festival, a themed event with its own narrative and limited-time rewards. Players will have access to exclusive content during this season.

Ostera update: high-level enemies

The Ostera continent expands with new high-level zones. These areas include more aggressive and challenging creatures such as:

• Bears
• TigerBugs
• Morningstars
• Stonelings

This update increases difficulty and expands progression opportunities for advanced players.

Land management changes: Mass Collect

The land management system improves with the Mass Collect feature, which allows players to gather all resources at once, streamlining land routines and game time.

Adornments and new cosmetic options

Adornments are new visual elements to personalize characters and display achievements. Additional cosmetic add-ons are also available, offering aesthetic freedom without impacting performance or abilities.

New Rift Maps

Two new Aether Rift maps expand the available content. These environments feature unique mechanics and distinct challenges from previous rifts, encouraging players to try new strategies and configurations.

$QUEST economy: expanded utility

One of the most significant changes arrives with the expansion of the $QUEST ecosystem, internally referred to as $QUEST Ecosystem 2.0. Starting August 15:

• Players will be able to purchase from the internal marketplace using $QUEST.
• New $QUEST sinks (token spending mechanisms) will be introduced.
• In-game token utility improvements will be implemented.

This update aims to balance the economy and strengthen $QUEST’s functional value as the primary currency in RavenQuest.

Official launch on Epic Games Store

The expansion also marks the official debut of RavenQuest on Epic Games Store, bringing increased visibility and new players. The current community will play a key role in welcoming newcomers and helping position the game as a competitive option on mainstream platforms.
