Red Dead Redemption comes to mobile and consoles

Fifteen years after its original release, Red Dead Redemption is galloping back with force. Rockstar Games has announced a new edition of the classic western, arriving on modern consoles and, for the first time, mobile devices. This re-release not only revives John Marston’s story but also includes the acclaimed Undead Nightmare expansion, all with enhanced graphics and performance.

Starting December 2, 2025, Red Dead Redemption will be available on:

Players who already own the game on PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch will receive a free upgrade, showcasing Rockstar’s commitment to its fanbase. This version includes:

• 4K resolution and improved frame rates
• Faster loading times and enhanced textures
• All content from the Game of the Year edition

The Wild West in Your Pocket

One of the biggest surprises is its arrival on iOS and Android. Thanks to a partnership with Netflix, subscribers will be able to play Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare at no additional cost on their mobile devices. This version features optimized touch controls and Bluetooth controller support, promising a smooth and complete experience.

The Return of the Undead

The Undead Nightmare expansion, which turned the western into a zombie horror story, has also been remastered. John Marston must face hordes of the undead in a parallel campaign that has become a cult classic.
