How to send crypto from Ripio to MetaMask

This guide explains step by step how to use Ripio to convert your money into cryptocurrencies and send them to a MetaMask wallet. The process includes how to buy USDC and POL, install MetaMask, and transfer the funds using the Polygon network to use them on other platforms.

1. Buy crypto in Ripio (USDC and POL)

Buy USDC

1. In the main Ripio menu, go to the “Crypto” option.
2. Search for and select “USDC”.
3. Enter the amount in your local currency.
4. Confirm the operation. The USDC balance will be credited to your account.

Buy POL to pay network fees

1. Search for the “POL” token in the crypto section.
2. Buy a small amount (between 0.5 and 1 USD).
3. These tokens will be used to pay the network fee in MetaMask.

2. Install MetaMask and set up the network

1. Go to https://metamask.io/
2. Download the extension or app depending on your device.
