HV-MTL in SHATTERLINE

Faraway arrived with the idea that NFTs don't have to disrupt the main gaming experience. That's why they created the HV-MTL, which were implemented to add value to both gameplay and the meta aspects of the game. Although their use is completely optional.

What are HV-MTLs?

HV-MTLs are NFTs with a value beyond being just collectibles; they represent mechs available as battle companions within Expedition Mode. Each mech class has unique abilities that bring strategy and variety to the gameplay. You can level them up and improve their stats for better versatility when climbing the rankings or enjoying a better gaming experience.

You can acquire an HV-MTL by clicking on one of the following platforms:

• Magic Eden
• OpenSea
• Faraway Store

You can choose from thousands of mechs in the catalog, with different styles, designs, and abilities. Without a doubt, there's a great variety so every player can choose based on their personal preferences.

How Do HV-MTL Points Work?

HV-MTLs have Base Points based on attributes like Class, Power, and Companion. Players can increase their Total Points by earning Extra Points in various games within the Faraway universe. To do this:

1. Earn Engrams in Shatterline ranking events or other Faraway games.
2. Decode the Engrams in the Rift Decoder at the HV-MTL points portal.
3. Receive Keys, Ascension Materials, or Rift Crystals.

• Rift Keys: Used to open boxes that contain more points. They are created and interchangeable at the Faraway Store.
• Ascension Materials: Required to increase the NFT's Ascension Level, unlocking more Extra Points. They are also created and interchangeable. HV-MTLs have a limit of Extra Points, determined by their Ascension Level. The higher the level, the more Extra Points can be applied to the NFT, increasing the number of tokens received during airdrops.

How to Earn and Use Engrams

Players can earn Engrams by climbing the PVP and PVE leaderboards. These Engrams are used to activate the Rift Decoder at the HV-MTL points portal. This allows players to earn HV-MTL Points, which later become the HV-MTL token. This token will be used as a cross-game asset within the Faraway ecosystem. Additionally, Engrams generate extra rewards like Rift Keys and Ascension Materials, which are interchangeable at the Faraway Store.
