The RavenQuest team has initiated a series of buyback & burn operations aimed at reducing the circulating supply of $QUEST and strengthening the project’s economic model. These actions are funded exclusively through revenue generated by the Munk Madness expansion, which enabled a new system where all net profit is reinvested into the ecosystem.

Below are the confirmed facts, verifiable transactions, and the economic plan communicated by the team.

A model activated after Munk Madness

The launch of Munk Madness marked a turning point. According to the team, the performance of the expansion reached the required sustainability level just three days after its release. From that moment on, they decided to channel 100% of net profit toward strengthening the token: buying $QUEST on the market and burning it immediately.

The team clarifies that they do not store these tokens or use them for future sales. Their position is to maintain this mechanism as a structural part of the ecosystem and remain aligned with players, stating that they have never sold tokens allocated to the team or development.

First buybacks and immediate burn

The first set of buybacks included several purchases distributed across ten transactions. All tokens were sent directly to a burn address. The official links were published on Discord and include:

  • Purchase records (10 transactions).
  • Corresponding burn transaction.

This procedure marked the beginning of a cycle that, according to the team, will continue steadily as long as there is surplus revenue.

Second cycle: additional USD 12,000 buyback

Shortly after, a second operation was executed: USD 12,000 in $QUEST purchases, once again followed by a full burn. The transactions can be verified on the Immutable explorer:

  • Purchase: 0x96d5cad4…f89e7
  • Purchase: 0xfb080b15…aa26
  • Burn: 0x34b8250d…cff0

With this, the team reiterates that the buyback pace will not depend on fixed intervals, but rather on the ecosystem's revenue flow.

A three-stage economic plan

The buyback initiative is part of a broader strategy summarized by the team in three steps.

1. Reduce the circulating supply

The immediate goal is to decrease the number of tokens available through:

  • Buybacks funded by real revenue, followed by total burns.
  • In-game spending, especially in activities like the Munk Carnival, where players spend $QUEST and contribute to further supply reduction.

2. Reward long-term participation through staking

The next stage involves a staking system that will grant rewards in $IMX and other non-inflationary assets. This mechanism will further decrease the active supply, though no dates or specific parameters have been released yet.

3. Introduce new utility for the token

Additional utilities will be implemented once the supply is more reduced. The intention is for utility to have a greater impact in a lower-supply environment. The team has not yet detailed what these functions will be.

Upcoming game updates in the next few days

In addition to the economic announcements, the team previewed several game changes:

  • An upcoming patch will include adjustments to Aether Monoliths and removal of the Skull Death Debt penalty in war zones, based on community feedback.
  • A later update will introduce two exclusive Rift potions (mana and health), priced lower than regular potions and usable only in those instances.

Community initiatives: two Small Land SBT giveaways

To accompany each milestone in the process, two consecutive giveaways were organized:

  • First giveaway, linked to the first buyback cycle.
  • Second giveaway, held after the USD 12,000 buyback.

Both consist of awarding a Small Land SBT, a non-transferable asset within the RavenQuest ecosystem. Participation requires “Like, Comment, and Retweet” on the official announcements on X within a 48-hour window.

The $QUEST ecosystem has begun an active phase of buybacks and burns funded by revenue from Munk Madness, with the purpose of reducing the circulating supply and strengthening the project's economic structure. The strategy includes a progressive transition toward staking and new token utilities, along with upcoming game updates and community activities.
