Stranger Things Season 5: Release date, streaming times and how to watch worldwide

The final season of Stranger Things is now underway. After more than three years since the fourth installment, the series returns with its fifth season to conclude the story of Hawkins, the Upside Down, and the characters who have followed millions since 2016.

This time, Netflix has chosen a three-part release to keep the conversation around the series active throughout the holiday season.

Release dates and structure

Season 5 is divided into three blocks. The first volume arrives today, November 26, 2025, with the first four episodes:

• Volume 1 (Episodes 1–4): November 26, 2025
• Volume 2 (Episodes 5–7): December 25, 2025
• Finale (Episode 8): December 31, 2025, also screened in 350 theaters across the U.S. and Canada

The Volume 1 episode titles, revealed by Ross Duffer, are:

• Episode 1: The Crawl (approx. 1 hour)
• Episode 2: The Vanishing of… (featuring a notable cold open)
• Episode 3: The Turnbow Trap
• Episode 4: Whysper

The story moves to the fall of 1987, one year after the end of season 4. Hawkins remains affected by the rifts opened by Vecna, while the group prepares for a central confrontation. Netflix shared a five-minute preview connecting directly to the first season.

Premiere times by region

Netflix aligned the release with Thanksgiving dinner in the U.S., launching episodes at 5:00 p.m. PT (8:00 p.m. ET).
In Latin America and Spain, episodes appear starting early on November 27.
