Minecraft expands its universe with the launch of the official Stranger Things DLC, content developed by Blockception and published by Mojang Studios. This collaboration arrives alongside the conclusion of the series on Netflix, which is currently in its fifth and final season.
The DLC is now available on the Minecraft Marketplace and offers a complete adventure set in Hawkins and the Upside Down, adapted to the game’s signature blocky style.
The content launched on December 26, 2025 and is available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
It is priced at 1510 Minecoins, with variations depending on the region.
Supported platforms:
The DLC is not available on Nintendo Switch, due to technical limitations that prevent ensuring stable performance, according to Mojang.

The experience is structured as an open-world adventure that revisits events and locations inspired by the first four seasons of the series, with additional references tied to its conclusion.
Playable moments include:
As missions are completed, the map evolves and unlocks new areas, challenges, and activities. Hawkins, the Russian lab, the Byers’ house, and the Upside Down are all explorable locations.

The DLC lets players choose from several characters from the series, each with specific abilities that affect how missions are completed:
Characters can be switched at any time, allowing different approaches to each challenge. The content supports solo play or multiplayer, alongside other players or AI-controlled characters.

The DLC includes 49 character skins and a limited-time free cosmetic item.
Players can claim a Hellfire Club T-shirt from the Dressing Room at no cost until January 25, 2026. After that date, it will become a paid item.

Mojang stated that the goal is to deliver a consistent experience across all supported platforms. For that reason:

This DLC works as a direct adaptation of the Stranger Things universe into Minecraft, combining exploration, combat, narrative missions, and cooperative gameplay.
For fans of the series who play on Bedrock Edition, it offers a way to explore Hawkins from a different perspective within the Minecraft ecosystem.
